Look on your tyre sidewall for a stamp starting with DOT. It ends in a 4-digit code — the first 2 digits are the week of manufacture, the last 2 are the year. For example, 2325 means week 23 of 2025. If your code ends in only 3 digits, the tyre was made before 2000.
This tool estimates manufacture date from the standard DOT date code and applies Dubai RTA’s commonly reported 5-year replacement rule. Fine amounts and black-point figures are widely reported but can change — confirm current penalties directly with Dubai’s RTA before relying on this for compliance purposes. Always check tread depth and physical condition too; age is only one part of tyre safety.
